This master class will teach you how to make your own beautiful quilling cards.
The presented master class isan excellent solution for making a postcard with your own hands. Such a gift will be a pleasant surprise for any holiday, event, congratulation. For work you will need green cardboard, brown corrugated cardboard, white cardboard, a small piece of polka-dot tape, rhinestones for decoration, and quilling paper.
If you don't have special paper for quilling,then it can be easily made from ordinary colored double-sided paper, cutting it into strips 5 mm wide. The length of each such strip should be about 40-50 cm. Materials for making a postcard:
We make a base from A5 cardboard by folding it in half. We cut out a 7x10 cm piece from brown corrugated cardboard. We attach pieces of double-sided foam tape to the back side.
We attach the rectangle horizontally to the green base.
Cut 7 cm of green polka dot ribbon and attach it to the side of the corrugated cardboard using glue.
Cut out a rectangle measuring 5x9 cm from white cardboard. Glue double-sided foam tape on the back side and attach the part vertically on top of the corrugated cardboard.
Take orange quilling paper and form a roll using a quilling tool.
We unravel the finished roll, holding it with our fingers. We coat the edge with glue.
We form six round parts.
We give each one the shape of a drop by pressing the circle with our fingers on one side.
We glue the parts together to form a flower.
From green quilling paper we form two rolls of different sizes. We give them the shape of a petal.
Place a large transparent rhinestone in the center of the flower.
We coat the flower with glue.
We attach it to the base on the area of the white rectangle. We attach the petals underneath it.
We take orange rhinestones of different sizes and decorate the corners of the card.
The original handmade greeting card is ready!
