Three interesting interior of small apartments of 50-70 sq.m., Small Cool 2011

The "little" category of the American Small competitionCool 2011 includes apartments up to 70 sq. m. Today we will look at the interiors of three different apartments: a women's apartment with shelves up to the ceiling, a men's bachelor apartment with a very unusual layout, and a loft for a girl who loves needlework. Maureen from Denver, Colorado lives in a small modern apartment of 59 sq. m. "What do you like most about your apartment?" A floor-to-ceiling shelving system made of white glossy wood stretches along the entire living room and creates ample storage space, immediately attracting attention and being the central element of the room. "What was the main challenge in the renovation and decor of the apartment?" The wood stove in the corner of the living room took up valuable square meters and it was very difficult to play up its presence without compromising the rest of the decoration. The result of their efforts turned out to be very spacious and bright:maureen-little-01maureen-little-02maureen-little-03maureen-little-04maureen-little-05maureen-little-06Rob is a bachelor in Grand Rapids, NY.Michigan, 64 m² apartment with a very unusual layout. In fact, it is one large room, where the living space is located along the perimeter, around the bathroom, closets and kitchen furniture. "What do you like most about your apartment?" My apartment had its own character and unique style even before the renovation. High ceilings, two walls completely in windows, brick walls and wooden floors from the time the house was built... "What was the main challenge in the renovation and decor of the apartment?" In a small town, it is difficult to find cool, interesting interior items, and also affordable. So finding original furniture and decorative elements that I liked and could afford, matched the style of the room and would not look insignificant against the background of high ceilings - this was a really difficult task. And how Rob coped with the task - in the gallery below.rob-little-01rob-little-02rob-little-03rob-little-04rob-little-05rob-little-06Susan from Amherst, Massachusetts lives in a loft.65 m². The cottage loft is an open-plan second floor above the living room and sleeping area. “What do you love most about your apartment?” There are many things I love about my home: lots of light, high cathedral ceilings, open-plan flooring, quiet neighbors. My home is on the side of a duplex in a neighborhood of log homes of varying sizes, from a large family-sized four-bedroom to a small loft, like the one I live in. I’ve been able to organize the space into distinct functional areas: the kitchen, dining, and work area are downstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs in the loft. “What was the biggest challenge in renovating and decorating the apartment?” I’d like to have an art studio and a sewing room where I can get creative and just leave it. I have a nice work space, it’s just a little cramped. I often have to work at the dining table... I am sometimes torn between the pleasure of creative chaos and the tranquility of an orderly, beautiful home.susan-little-05susan-little-01susan-little-02susan-little-03susan-little-04susan-little-06We recommend:to create a unique style in the interior of any room, it is often enough to change one of the main elements of the decor. An individual solution is interesting original wallpaper, for example, realistic custom photo wallpaper. The choice of images is so wide that you can definitely choose and buy photo wallpaper for any room - a nursery, a living room, a kitchen. Source: https://www.art-oboi.com.ua/photooboi-interior.html
