But the people's love for these cute and slightly naive creations turned out to be so great that soon other varieties of tildes appeared. Easter bunnies and sleepy bears, thoughtful cats and playful bees, plush hares and exquisite flowers, and this is far from a complete range of possible incarnations.tilda-cvety-006Currently, the brand Tilda covers a largehand made goods. Books Tone Finnanger with patterns and master classes diverge multimillion copies. Complete sets for needlework are produced, including patterns, fabrics and even threads. The only production that can not be started is the factory production of the ready Tildes, because the Norwegian principle is unshakable - the dolls must be sewn exclusively by hand. The lucky fate of undergoing general tildomania did not bypass me. Honestly, until this moment, the last time I sewed in a distant childhood on a mug of cutting and sewing, so I decided to start from the very beginning. And the easiest thing to me seemed sewing such a product as a tilde flower.

Master class on tailoring of tulips

tilda-tulpan-007Here for the same beginners, as I, I suggestmaster class on tailoring of tulips. But for starters - a photo from the Internet, so to speak, for inspiration. Well, I wanted to create a bunch of tulips for myself? Then come on. The materials and tools you need to work:

  • fabric of two colors (natural materials are preferable - cotton, linen, bike, but satin is also possible);
  • filler (can be foam rubber, sintepon, cotton wool, holofayber);
  • wire or bamboo rod for the frame;
  • thread in tone of fabric, needle;
  • simple pencil, scissors;
  • sewing machine.

Operating procedure

  • We fold the fabric in half. The pattern of our tulip is nowhere simpler, so we draw it directly on the fabric, by hand. Approximate sizes for a ready tulip in 35 cm are indicated in the photo below.
  • We break the fabric with pins and sew on the contour on the sewing machine. You can stitch and manually stitch "forward needle". Do not forget to leave a hole in the bottom of the bud for stuffing filler.
  • The details are cut out from the edge approximately 2-3 mm. In order that the fabric does not fray, in the corners we make additional cuts. Obtained blanks are turned out and ironed.
  • In the stem, we insert the wire so that itprotruded over the edge by about 1.5-2 cm. We fill the bud tightly and fill it with a protruding part of the wire. Then gently sew to the stalk with a hidden seam, pre-attaching at the base. We sew the leaf approximately in the middle of the stem.
  • If desired, the tulip can be decorated with lace,beads or embroidery. The main thing is that all colors and accessories are combined. That's all, the hand-sewn bouquet of tulips is ready. Enjoy the result.

    tilde flowersLearning to sew tulips, it's time to fastenmaterial sewing one more flower. We begin to make a textile rose. Materials used in this master class are almost the same as above:

    • shreds of fabric of two kinds;
    • filler;
    • thread and needle.

    Operating procedure

  • By the same principle as in the first master classmake the basis for our flower in the form of a shamrock. Draw the picture on the material folded in half. Stitch, leaving a slot for filling, then carefully cut out. Filler fill is loose, the cut is sewn with a secret seam.
  • For the flower itself, we take a strip of fabric (I took natural flax), add it in half, with pins. On the line of the bend draw an arbitrarily wavy line. Then we sew on the outlined contour.
  • Carefully cut out, receding from the edge of 2-3 mm. In case the material is very sticky, it is desirable to sweep the edge. Then we turn the workpiece out and iron it.
  • Strip the strip along the edge and stretch the thread a little. We begin to collect the rose petals by twisting them in a spiral inside and sewing them to the base. Congratulations, the textile rose is ready.

    • Having mastered these two master classes, you can already make other simple tildes yourself, for example, a daisy or a "valentine". And next time I will tell you how to sew a tilde doll. Good luck to everyone.
