Have enough patience, because the work will be very painstaking. Prepare ordinary cardboard of two colors, paper stripes for a basket, scissors, double-sided scotch tape, PVA, a punch in the form of a flower, an awl or toothpick, a small sponge, an artificial twig of flowers and a ribbon. When all the materials and tools for work are prepared, fold the cardboard sheet in half - this will be the bottom of the postcard. Cut a rectangular window from the front of the postcard. This option implies a base with dimensions of 10x15 cm, and a rectangle inside - 5x9 cm. From the same cardboard as for the base, we cut out a rectangle with dimensions of 10x6 cm. In addition, we need to cut out two ribbons of beautiful paper. Their sizes will be 2х14 cm and two more strips - 2x5 cm.
The rectangle we cut out should beadd up in a certain way. Fold it in half, and then bend each side by 1 cm. Glue the two-sided adhesive tape to the resulting edges of the rectangle. Then glue it to the bottom of the postcard. He will become the basis.
Ready-made stripes of colored cardboard should beglue with a double-sided adhesive tape from the front side around the carved window. Two long stripes are on each side, and short ones are on top and bottom. Cut out the flowers using a punch. This procedure can be done with scissors, just such a job will take a little longer.
Form flowers, pressing them with an awl ortoothpick in a wet sponge. You can additionally crush them with your hand. In the future, these three-dimensional flowers will form buds. Stick the dried flowers one to one. Start with more closed. Buds should turn out magnificent. You can also find ready-made bouquets.
Now, twist the strips of paper. Use the quilling tool (you can replace it with an awl). Screw about 6 stripes, gluing together their ends. When it comes out approximately the same volume as in the picture, glue the last tip to the formed circle.
Form a basket from it. To do this, gently squeeze the middle. Do this until you are satisfied with the shape of the basket. Fill the middle with glue. Now, decorate the handle by gluing a twig or rope from both sides.
Next, you need to paste the bouquet inside the basket. Make a small loop from the ribbon and hang the finished basket on it. Glue this loop on the inside of the window.
Now our postcard is ready. In addition, you can attach a bow and make a suitable inscription.
Grandma will be happy with any gift that her beloved grandchildren did. A greeting card with a flower basket is no exception, because you put all your love, warmth and care in it.
