The toy of a chanterelle can be made by hands from a wool by a method of dry felting, a master class with a photo.
Foxes are cunning, dangerous, but very bright animals, andso beautiful. Their bright red color simply burns with fire on the white snow. Toys in the shape of foxes are very attractive to children, which is why red-haired beauties are knitted, sewn, and even felted from wool. This master class will help you to felt one of the representatives of these cunning creatures from wool. We will not make a simple fox, but a fashionable fox. She will stand on her hind legs, and she will have a hairstyle with shining rhinestones in her hair instead of a hairpin.
Materials and tools:
- wool (orange, white, black, brown, green);
- a needle for felting;
- Rhinestones;
- glue.
First we will roll the fox's head.To do this, take orange wool. You can take it darker or lighter. The color depends on your preference. First we felt the ball, and then we try to give it the desired shape. That is, we form a slightly elongated and narrowed shape.
Since the fox also has white fur, take the white wool and roll it to the bottom of the head, to the chin. You need to roll it down more tightly.
Now let’s put our heads aside for now and beginroll the body. We take the orange wool and begin to felt the piece, which is slightly narrowed at the top, on a sponge. We will leave the wool unfelted on top so that we can attach the head later.
We will felt the paws from two colors:orange and black. Instead of black, you can use brown. Roll an orange sausage on a sponge. Then we'll color it a little. We will roll black wool from below. Our paws will look like this.
Add black fur to the hind legsas much as possible, then the fox will be like wearing boots. Let's return to the head and body. We attach the head with the hair that remains unfelted on the top of the body. And if the head doesn’t hold up well, you can also add a little orange wool in place of the neck.
Next, let's take very small pieces of orange wool and make ears for our fox. Let's just roll a triangle on the sponge. It should turn out flat.
Now let’s roll everything down gently but firmlyour details for the fox. So that the joints are not visible, add a little wool of the desired color and poke it with a needle. This way we will smooth out the joints of the parts, and the toy will seem solid. We will also use a needle to give the fox a pose. Where we need to make a fold, we simply poke with a needle and gradually this fold is formed.
We felt white wool on the chest. It can be felted less tightly than the parts. After all, this is the kind of fluff that real foxes have.
We will make eyes from green wool.We tear off very small pieces and, having determined the place for the eyes, roll them down. Give the eyes the desired shape. They can be made cunning, or vice versa, very kind and affectionate. And add a pupil made of black wool to them. The eyes also need to be properly sealed. The nose can be made brown or black. We roll the nose to the most protruding point of the muzzle. It needs to be made in the form of a triangle.
All that remains is to felt the tail. The fox is red and white. First, we felt an oblong oval piece from white wool.
You can roll here and not very tightly.After all, the tail should be soft and fluffy. However, at the same time, it should not fall apart, and the wool should not become detached from the main part. Add orange wool on top and roll it onto the white piece. We don’t felt the end of the tail at all, we leave it like that. It looks very beautiful and alive.
You can make hair from brown wool and make a fox hairstyle, decorating it with rhinestones. This is such a cunning and fashionable fox!
