Felt toys with their own hands. We sew a giraffe.
Felt toys with their own hands. My child often asks me to sew a toy for myself with my own hands. I prefer to sew from fleece or felt, because this is the material that does not crinkle, does not lose its brightness and shape, felt is durable enough, and crafts made of it will long please the eye. Children like toys made of felt, tk. they are very colorful and soft. Sewing from felt is quite simple and convenient, and that's why this material is increasingly used by needlewomen for sewing and handicrafts with their own hands. This time my little son asked me to sew him a giraffe and I want to show you how quickly and simply you can do it. Such a toy you can do even with the child, he will like it! I also suggest looking at the sets of doctor and instruments from felt. I had a big piece of orange felt and Idecided to make giraffes from it. We also need a bit of black and white felt (for specks and eyes), brown yarn for tail, scissors, thread and needle, filler. To begin with, we drew and cut out from the felt the parts needed for the toy - two trunks, a tail and four legs: We sew the legs: sew a piece of felt around the edges and fill it with filler. We had threads from an old pillow as filler. The legs of our giraffe were thin and it was very convenient to stuff the filler into them with a stick. So we sew 4 legs. Then we need to sew on the trunk (on both sides) specks, and on the head ears, horns and eyes. I simply sewed my mouth with red thread. Now we sew our feet. I decided to make them mobile - to achieve this, it is necessary to sew the legs to the body so that the needle passes through the same place each time in the trunk. Now make the tail: Sew yarn to a piece of felt, sew on the sides and attach to the trunk.Sew the two parts of the trunk and gradually insert the filler into it. Lovely toy - giraffe with his own hands of felt ready!
