A stick horse is an amazing toy,suitable for almost any age! Any boy, and even a girl will be delighted if you make such a gift for him with your own hands! This is a very good and not very difficult to implement idea for a competition at a children's party, you can make several horses and the kids will run in a race. Believe me, this is a very fun activity!)) Today I want to show how we made such a toy for our son. We used a hockey stick instead of a stick, it turned out to be very convenient! We only needed to sew a horse's head that was the right size for the stick. First, cut out all the details needed to embroider the horse's head from felt:
Sew the pieces together, leaving some at the bottom of the neckhorses hole where we insert a stick (club). Then, if desired, you can fill the head with cotton wool, synthetic padding (synthetic fluff) or any other filler. When I don’t have any of the above at home, I stuff the toys with cellophane bags. You can also use this idea, especially since almost everyone has a mountain of unnecessary bags at home! We made a dragon using the same scheme!
