Making a toad

We will inflate the ball and stick it with 3-4 layers of a wet newspaper. Let's postpone for a couple of hours, so they dry up.

We paste 5-6 layers of toilet paper. Each layer should be dried for 2-3 hours.

We make the back paws of our figure from the foil and the magazine sheet twisted into a tube.

The front paws are best done only from foil. We fix everything on the sides. A mass of papier-mache will help to glue and smooth out the contours.

To make deer antlers, you must firstbend wire horns. Then wrap the wire with toilet paper to give it more grip. Large antlers are difficult to make in one go. Therefore, a mass of papier-mâché made from cardboard and glue should be prepared for one portion, and not for all the horns at once. Cover the frame with “dough”, giving it the desired shape. When the horns are dry (3-4 days), decorate them with any colors and varnish. They can be made into large elk ones to hang on the wall. Small antlers on the top of your child’s head will look interesting, as part of a carnival costume. If you are engaged in landscape sculpture and have already sculpted a horse, then by attaching antlers to it, you can easily make an exotic deer.
