Transparent glass house in nature
Villa Sterk — a country glass house inBontebok, Netherlands, designed by Dutch architecture studio Inbo. The architects initially planned to fit the modern glass and metal mansion into the surrounding landscape. That's why they chose this house plan - elongated in one line and one-story, so as not to tower over the trees.A glass house hidden from the road by a strip of tall buildingstrees, offers a peaceful rest and a secluded refuge in the quiet countryside. Morning dew, a cup of steaming coffee, a vast green lawn, the soothing sounds of nature - a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from the chaotic lifestyle of the city. And such a refuge only contributes to this.
Neat, clean and light mansion designemphasizes the spatial privacy of this place. But at the same time it gives the illusion that you are outside. Frontal glass walls and doors allow you to erase the boundaries of the house - nature. Sunlight penetrates the space through and through, looking into every corner. Whatever the inhabitants of the house do, they have a constant opportunity to contemplate the emerald field and blue sky. Even while taking a bath or lying in bed.
The interior of the glass house is designed in the styleminimalism, which is absolutely logical for such a project. Dominant white color of finishing, light tones of furniture and accessories, natural materials, nothing that could spoil the feeling of freshness, airiness and unity with nature.
The garden plot near the mansion of this design does not include any additional buildings, recreation areas or a swimming pool, so as not to spoil the naturalness of the surrounding landscape.
