Garbage calendar
Most graphic design products inare eventually thrown in the trash. And many projects remain just projects. The idea of each development must be so strong that it can have an effective impact during its short life. Only then does design matter. When ideas emerge that can change the world, life matters. And there is no need to regret the day that has passed, because you did not waste it.
Every day of the calendar is a new bag forgarbage. Each month is a roll of 28, 30 or 31 bags. The calendar consists of 12 rolls and is divided into 4 quarterly sets of 3 rolls. The date on each garbage bag is printed in such a way that it is visible when the bag is pulled over the garbage can.
The main thing that designer Yuri Gutsulyak wanted to saythis work – design deserves attention. It should surround us everywhere and always. And if there is a good idea behind the design, then it really works and can influence people and their activities.
Most calendars go straight into the trash.bucket. For such a calendar, this is the main result. It works even in the trash and every day makes you think about how and why this day was spent.
