Twin Bead Bracelet: Master Class

Twin Bead Bracelet: Master Class

We offer you a master class onthe creation of bracelets from double-bead twin beads of the Czech firm Preciosa Ornel. The unusual shape of the beads - oval 2.5 x 5 mm, with two holes, is a little alarming to those who are interested in beadwork. In fact, working with a twin is very pleasant, it is amazingly easy-to-use stuff, stylish and beautiful. It easily fits into the shape you need, so today it is increasingly used for weaving three-dimensional shapes. And we begin to work with twin beads with simple bracelets. Only 2 bags of twin beads are able to give you a lot of pleasure, and at the exit - 3 bracelets for the daughter and one for yourself. I chose a zigzag pattern in several variations.

To weave a twin bead bracelet, you will need:

on 5 grams of green and pink neon beadstwin; several beads to match the color of the twin; fishing line; 2 hangers for 3-4 rings; 8 jewelry rings for connecting a bracelet with hangers; snap hook fastener; jewelry pliers; costume jewelers; needle for weaving beads; scissors.

Beads twin: a master class in weaving a bracelet

We start the creation from work with fittings. With the help of round pliers and pliers, slightly unclip the wire ring and use it to attach the carabiner to the hanger. We fasten one ring to the other shoulder - with a carabiner in a pair, it will make a buckle of the future beaded twin bracelet. We start weaving. To do this, we make a small and tight knot on the fishing line (so that it does not pass into the hole of the bead) and we collect 7 beads on the needle, alternating through one pink and green one. Like this: Fold the beads up and down as shown.in the next photo. A piece of wire can be inserted into the bottom row (pink) - this trick will help to fix the structure in the desired position until the web “braids” and there is no need for a wire. We attach our future bracelet to the shoulder - it seems to fit. The bottom row we have made up pink beads, the top one is green. We continue to weave a green zigzag. We pick up a green bead on a needle and insert it into the extreme green bead - its top hole: We dash a row of green beads: We see that the series remained unfinished. To do this, we string another green bead through the lower hole - and right there we draw the needle into its upper hole: The next two rows are similarly weave pink. Then change the color again. And so - to the required length of the bracelet minus the length that the fastener "eats". Edge close up as follows: between the twin we miss the usual beads of a suitable color. One end of the bracelet came out with us so that the beads are not connected to each other. We correct this defect by walking along this edge so as to connect the beads together. In the same way, with ordinary beads, we fill the voids between the extreme tweens. We attach the hangers to the beaded canvas - for this we connect them with wire rings. Use pliers and round pliers. An interesting twin bead bracelet is ready! Let's try another variation. But what if you take the first row of beads not for the narrow side of the bracelet, but for the wrist girth? We have a sample, but we will again weave a zigzag! To do this, we collect the required length of beads: one green, three pink, three green, three pink ... and then alternate 3 green and 3 pink. You can choose your weaving pattern, drawing it on a piece of paper in the box. Diamonds, hearts, stripes, flowers ... playing with flowers, you will undoubtedly be able to weave amazing bracelets! And I did it like this. How to attach a clasp - you already know. Only 2 sachets of 20 grams each - and this is how the set came out: Eva Casio specifically for the site Previous article: Next article:
