Underwater life: jellyfish lamp and poufs – corals
Jellyfish are graceful, unusual, beautiful anddangerous sea creatures. People often admire them, observing them from a safe distance, but many people really dislike them and are terrified of them. And not without reason. Dozens of species of jellyfish can cause serious harm to human health and even take life. Be that as it may, the beautiful creatures fascinate with their smooth movements, unearthly glow and inspire creative individuals to come up with original ideas and crafts. Designer Roxy Russell is a true connoisseurnatural harmony and beauty, he created a series of sea lamps - jellyfish, and to them - sinuous poufs in the shape of corals. This interior content will delight scuba divers, marine biologists and simply lovers of underwater themes.
Nature the Creator creates unique livingorganisms, designers can only inherit, try to repeat and recreate the beauty and smoothness of lines. Each jellyfish ceiling light resembles some type of invertebrate sea creature. The tentacles look quite realistic, it’s even scary to touch them, in case they are equipped with stinging cells.
The jellyfish lamp is made from polyester using thelaser cutting. The density of the material and the white color of the jellyfish transmit the light from the light bulb, making it a little muted, matte, and soft. In the interior, both one jellyfish lamp and a whole family of sea creatures look impressive.
To complement the marine theme of the interior, the designer offers two types of coral-shaped poufs. Soft and cozy, the ottomans are made from recycled wool-fill, while the solid stools are cut from plywood. The latter can act as original coffee tables, because magazines and newspapers can be folded into the slots, imitating the natural curves of real reef inhabitants.
