Unusual, extravagant and impressive armchairsin the form of animals is created by the Spanish designer, sculptor and photographer Massimo Riera. According to the author’s idea, the series will include 15 armchairs in the form of different representatives of the family of mammals, insects and mollusks, so that The Animal Chair Collection is constantly updated with new armchairs and sofas. You don't even know how to classify theseamazing chairs in the shape of animals, each of them could well be not only an interior item, but also an independent sculpture, an art object of modern art and a conceptual installation. The stunning realism of the chairs is achieved thanks to computer technology and the artistic talent of the designer. In the first stage of creating a chair, Massimo Riera's sketches are translated into a three-dimensional image under his own control, so that the final result fully corresponds to the idea. Next, specialists from the British company JH May use the latest equipment to cut out three-dimensional models from polyurethane blocks. Only high-quality black leather is used for the upholstery of each chair.
According to the designer’s idea, chairs in the shape of animals are designed to pay tribute to the entire animal world on the planet, as well as reflect and capture the beauty of living nature in interior items.
