Unusual decorative plates: a picture on plates
Decorating walls with plates is quite oldtradition. Even now, such decor of the walls is popular, especially in certain styles of the interior. As a rule, the honor of hanging on the wall deserve decorative plates of unusual shapes, with beautiful ornaments, drawings or photographs. The artist uses plates of different sizes andforms as a canvas for creating large-scale images. Each plate is hand-painted by Molly himself, so this is a very laborious and complicated work. The drawings on each plate represent part of the whole picture - a mosaic. In her collection there are paintings of 16-40 plates, and there are also complex compositions from more than 500 decorative plates. Plots for her ceramic mosaics are borrowed by the artist in museums, vintage ornaments on vases and engravings.
