Unusual sofa from the London phone booth
Upholstered furniture in the living room, as a rule, becomesone of the central elements of the interior, around which the rest of the space is built. And if the sofa is red, moreover, and made of an unusual object, then this furniture will be the main highlight, immediately attracting attention and color and shape. This is an unusual sofa, made from a real London phone booth, which has become one of the symbols of the capital of Great Britain. From the booth was removed all the extra - phone and all electronic stuffing, glass windows, door and partitions. The exterior of the cockpit, which became the basis for the sofa, was put in order, reddened to a bright red color and the inscription was updated. Soft pillows are sewn from the skin also in red, almost a tone in tone matching the color of the booth. Upholstery is made in classical style, "rhombs" with fitted buttons. 
An unusual sofa was made in the framework of the2012 in London exhibition BT Artbox, in which designers and artists turned classical telephone booths into art objects. Basically, the cabins did not change their destination, remaining telephone booths, they were simply painted, painted and covered with the most incredible drawings. And only Benjamin Shine completely redefined the function of the booth, turning it into an elegant and at the same time eccentric sofa. This seat can be imagined both in the interior of a modern apartment, and somewhere in public places, shops or waiting rooms.
The idea so pleased the residents and guests of London that the first red couch-booth had followers, albeit with other colors.
