Flowers are perhaps the most pleasant and bright giftat any time of the year. Especially if these flowers do not fade in a few days and are made with your own hands! With the help of our master class, we offer you to learn how to weave terry and ordinary violets from beads. Beading is an exciting and simple activity and will be within the power of even beginner craftswomen, even if you have never tried to weave from beads before.
Necessary materials
For weaving we will need:
- Green beads - about 50 grams - for petals;
- Beads of white, purple, pink or otherColor, depending on what color you want to weave the violets. To simulate terry violets, a combination of two shades of the same color (darker and lighter) is suitable;
- Wire thickness 0.3 mm;
- Floristic ribbon or mulina of green color (it is better to tape or thread
); - insulating tape;
- Materials for decoration.
So, let's get started!
Beginner craftswomen need to know that there are twomain methods of weaving flowers from beads: parallel weaving and French weaving (weaving with arcs). The resulting violets are different. We suggest you choose the method you like or combine flowers woven in different techniques in a bouquet!
Terry violet in French weaving technique
Petals Take 7 beads of purple orPink color (or any other, depending on the color scheme of the bouquet). Beads need to be strung on a wire about 40-50 cm long. Beads should be placed so that it is 9-10 cm from one end of the wire. Opposite - the far end of the wire will be working at the same time. Make a loop - beads form a ring, which will become the basis of the first petal.
String beads onto the remaining free end.for the second ring. Calculate the number of beads depending on the size of the first ring - the second ring should lie flat, without tension. Wrap the long part of the workpiece with beads around the first ring and twist it with the short ring - the petal will increase by a row, as shown in the photo:
Make the third row of the petal in a similar manner.beaded violets. You will get a round blank, which in itself is already very similar to a flower petal! But in order to make a terry violet, you need to give the petal a finished look. To do this, string 5 beads on the long end of the wire in this way: purple - three white - purple. The wire must be passed between the second and third bead from the place where the wire comes out. In this case, the wire must be secured so that a loop is formed. This loop is the beginning of the "fringe" along the edge of our terry violet. After the first loop is ready, we "tie" the entire blank in a circle with the same loops until we return to the place where the short end of the wire comes out.
The ends of the wire must be twisted along the entire length.The blank of one petal is obtained. In order to obtain one violet from beads, repeat steps 1-4 of our master class four more times. In total, there should be 5 blanks, as in the photo:
We make a stamen For this, on a short piecewire (about 20 cm) you need to string 4 beads. Next, we pass the short end of the wire through the bead so that a loop is formed and tighten it. Now we string 4 beads on the long end and pass them through the initial bead until a loop is formed and tighten them in the same way. In the same way, we make the next 2 loops. As a result, we get 4 loops and twist their wires together. We string beads on the combined ends and move them higher to the loops.
Forming a flower The assembly diagram of the ladders looks like this:
- We add the petals "pile";
- We twist the wires from all the petals together;
- Straighten the petals like a fan, so that the flower looks like a violet;
- Bend the stem perpendicularly, this will be the stem of the flower;
- vdevaem the middle lobe woven preform stamens and twist their delays;
- Stalk of violets tightly wrapped in a floss or floral tape.
One violet of beads is over! If you did everything according to the instructions, it should work out just like in the photo:
Now you need to make a few more flowers, the number will depend on the size of the bouquet.
Put the finished blanks aside. To make the bouquet look more like a real one, you need to weave
.
Weaving leaves In order to weave a leaf,take a piece of wire about half a meter long or a little longer. You need to string 12 beads on the wire axis and make five turns around it. This way we will get medium-sized leaves.
Now we start making the leaves.larger. From a wire about 95 cm long, you need to make a loop and string 14 beads on its axis. Now we make six turns and as a result we get a leaf larger than the previous one.
Repeat the previous steps of our master class andMake enough leaves to surround the flowers in the bouquet. The exact number of leaves depends on the size of the bouquet and your wishes. For our bouquet, we will need 7 medium-sized leaves and 4 large leaves. You can see the finished blanks in the photo.
The stems of the leaves and petals must be tightly wrapped in floss so that the finished bouquet looks neat.
Flower assembly Our master class is coming to an end and now all we have to do is assemble and design the bouquet. It is not difficult to assemble it: just tightly intertwine the “cuttings” of flowers and leaves.
You can design the composition in different ways. For example, here are some ideas for designing compositions of ready-made terry violets made of beads:
Violets made of beads in a potIdeas you will need a small plastic flower pot in the size of a bouquet and alabaster from a building store. The flower pot must be filled with crumpled paper, pour the diluted alabaster, and then place the cuttings of the collected bouquet in it. The first few minutes of flowers must be maintained in the correct position with your hand, then the alabaster will solidify. To unattractive "soil" subsequently did not look through, it can be disguised. For example, you can sprinkle alabaster on top of the remains of beads of dark shades or small stones.
Violet bouquet The composition can be made withwith the help of corrugated paper, sisal and floral tape. A boring pot can be decorated at your discretion from any available materials. All this can be bought in a specialized store. There are also special stands in which the finished bouquet can be beautifully placed. Do not hesitate to show your imagination in decorating the bouquet! Such an unfading composition of terry violets will be a wonderful gift for any occasion.
Beading jewelry in the form of violets
Ring If you do not have enough patience toWeave an entire bouquet, you will be enough for one flower to make a unique accessory. To make it you will need one small violet (the size of the flower can be increased or decreased if you change the number of beads in the first row of the petal) and the base under the ring - these are sold in some needlework shops, as well as on the Internet. Carefully cut the line on the workpiece. Press a few drops of the universal glue onto the flat part of the base and gently glue the flower to the ring. Allow the product to dry and the ring can be worn!
Pendant If you are fascinated with beadwork, tryMake a violet in the technique of parallel weaving, which can become an interesting basis for the pendant. From French it differs in that all the beads are connected in series, in rows.
To weave this violet pendant you will need:
- thin wire;
- Beads of pink and purple flowers (or two other matching colors of your choice);
- Decorative cord for jewelry in a suitable color scheme;
- Base under the pendant.
As in weaving a terry violet from beads,each petal of the pendant is made separately. Beading in parallel technique is very suitable for beginner needlewomen. In our version, the creation of violet petals will occur according to the following scheme:
- The first row: on the wire you need to thread 5 beads;
- second row:add 7 more beads to one end of the wire, then pass the second end through them, moving towards the first, tighten the wire. Weaving of further rows is done in a similar technique. The beads are strung on the first end of the wire, and the second is passed towards it, tighten the row;
- Third row: 9 beads;
- The fourth and fifth rows: 10 beads;
- Sixth row: 8 beads;
- Seventh row: 6 beads;
- Eighth row: four beads;
- The ninth row: two beads.
Do not cut the wire, set the workpiece aside.side. Similarly, make the remaining four petals. The petals can be made identical or slightly different in shape, for this you need to change the number of beads in the rows.
Make the center of the flower following the weaving examplepetals, as in the previous master class. To do this, string 7 beads on the wire and twist a small loop. Next, string another 15 beads on one end of the wire and make another ring on top of the first, twist the ends and make a third turn of the wire, not forgetting to increase the number of beads for the third circle. For stamens, twist 4 beads separately. For assembly, intertwine the stalks of the petals around the stamens, twist tightly, cut off the remaining stalks.
Attach the flower to the base for the pendant using glue, you can sew the parts with thread or fishing line for additional fastening. The unusual pendant is ready!
