We create a tree of wishes from natural materials with our own hands
Today it is quite a popular and fashionable tradition,which, by the way, was once an integral ritual of all weddings, began to make and give a wish tree for a wedding, which is placed on the newlyweds' table. This composition consists of tree branches on which the guests' wishes and parting words for the newlyweds are hung. As a rule, such a tree is ordered from a wedding agency, but you must agree that it will be much more pleasant to make and give such a tree yourself.
For the decorative composition we will need:– flower pot – pruning shears – tree branches – narrow satin ribbon, preferably pink – decorative colorful balls or glass pebbles – medium-sized beads or seed beads – sponge – acrylic paint, in this case we need white. Before starting work, you need to select the appropriate branches for our future tree, which should be highly branched and sufficiently curved. Hawthorn branches would be an excellent option, as they have a rather aesthetic appearance and long thorns, which, by the way, will play a role in the image of our composition, and which one you will understand a little later.
So, let's take three or four small brancheswild hawthorn, wash them to remove dirt and excess peeling bark. Then put them in the sun to dry thoroughly. After our branches have completely dried, we carefully trim them with pruning shears, thereby removing the protruding ends, in order to give them an artistic look and the image of a miniature tree. Pour sand into a pot, tamp it down, and lay out our beads and pebbles on top. Pour acrylic paint into a small tray and, carefully dipping a sponge into it, randomly apply white spots to the branches of our tree. After that, again, leave our branches to dry. The next step will be stringing pre-prepared beads (preferably large ones) onto the thorns of the hawthorn. To prevent the beads from slipping off and holding tightly, coat each thorn with PVA glue. Next, cut the satin ribbon into thin strips and tie miniature bows on the branches of our tree. Everything is ready! You can also put a miniature bird, butterfly or other element in the center of the composition as additional decor, which can be purchased in flower shops at your discretion. And do not forget to cut thin strips of paper in advance, on which the guests will write their parting words and tie them to the tree. This creation, which you will make with your own hands, will be a truly real gift and will certainly be remembered by all those present. The composition will also look good as home decor.
