Wooden sandals from Pedro Lourenco
Brazilian designer Pedro LourencoLourenco, in collaboration with Alexandre Birman, creates an interesting collection of clothing and footwear made from natural materials. Particular attention should be paid to the original wooden sandals, which have become the hallmark of the designers' shoe collection.
Wooden sandals combine high13 cm heel and a fashionable wedge. Thanks to such a high heel and small sole, the foot size visually seems smaller. The design feature of the sandals is wooden cylinders that look like wine corks. The cylinders are located between the leather insole and the wedge. It seems that these cylinders are rotating and the foot is about to move forward!
The sandals are tied to the foot with a thick braided cord that goes through a fabric strip on the toe of the sandals and a leather strip on the instep. The heel is also made of genuine leather.
The collection includes two color solutions: white wooden sandals and black ones.
In the black version, the heel and sole were left with a natural wood look.
I would wear such shoes in the summer with great pleasure. Together with clothes made of linen or other natural materials, with wooden accessories, the sandals would look very stylish.
