Dutch designer Anna van der Lei did not forget the traditions and created her own compact version of the Finnish sauna. In this version, you do not need to have a lot of space to accommodate the sauna: a dressing room, bathroom furniture and a bathing space are combined into one large cabinet made of larch wood. Such a closed bath - sauna is multifunctional and saves space. Designer Anna van der Lei has vivid memories from her childhood associated with a sauna in a Finnish summer house on the shore of a lake, surrounded by magnificent nature. It was a place of peace, rest and relaxation. Then the girl realized that a sauna is more than just swimming or a steam room: a magnificent view of clear clean waters, a wooden structure with the smell of wood, only the sounds of nature mixed with silence. It was not only physical, but also psychological recovery.
The closed bath is filled with hot water,wooden planks expand under the influence of moisture and temperature, become waterproof and do not let steam out of the cabin when all the doors are closed. You steam yourself, inhaling the pine aromas of heated wood, and the clothes hanging there are also steamed, which was of great importance for hygiene in past centuries, and will not be superfluous now. The doors in the front and back of the cabinet can be completely open to allow air access.
