There is an incredible number of different origami-stars. This master class will show how to make a very simple modular star resembling a flower. For work we need:
- colored paper,
- Ruler and pencil,
- color pencils,
- Double-sided tape.
For each star we prepare 8 square sheets of paper with a side of 7-8 cm. Let's start the manufacture of the module. Bend the sheet on one and the other diagonals. Turn the reverse side and fold it in half. Following the lines, turn the workpiece into a double triangle. Turn it upside down and bend up both sides. The module is ready. Similarly, we produce 7 more parts. We connect the modules by inserting them into each other. Apply a little glue. The eighth detail is glued together with the first. The star is almost ready. So she looks on the reverse side. You can re-wrap the petals, to give more volume. The center of the star is decorated with a double flower. We attach it with double-sided tape. In the middle, you can paste a half-bead or a rhinestone. And the festive star-flower is completely completed! The reverse side looks no less attractive. Despite the simplicity, the stars are very effective, voluminous and bright. They are beautiful in themselves. If you attach a ribbon, they make wonderful Christmas tree toys. Two stars can be glued together - and then the resulting star will be "fluffy" on both sides. Such flowers will decorate a postcard, an envelope, a gift box or another hand-made article. A similar flower can decorate the center of a multicolored chamomile. And so the asterisks look on the bookmarks. To create small colors, you should use squares with a side of 4-5 cm. Such wonderful floral stars are obtained!
