Very often when you go to a birthday party,New Year or just any other holiday or significant day to your friends or relatives, it is important not only to buy a good gift, but also to decorate it beautifully. Often you have to turn to specialists to help with the design of the present, although you can do everything yourself, the main thing is to turn on your imagination.I would like to suggest that I knit you a basket in the form ofduckling. It can be used as a piggy bank, a box, and, of course, as a gift wrapping that will definitely please its recipient. And you will show your individuality, originality and resourcefulness. And your gift will definitely not go unnoticed. We will knit a basket with a crochet hook. And such a gift wrapping is not difficult and does not take long to knit. For work we will need:
- threads of yellow, black and red colors;
- hook;
- needle;
- sintepon.
Let's start our work with the basket.Since our basket will be in the form of a duckling, we need to knit with a yellow thread. We will knit six single crochet stitches (SC) into a loop. Now we will knit two SC stitches into each loop of the row that was earlier. This way, our knitting will smoothly and gradually expand to the desired size.In the first loop one dc without y-y, in the other - two dc, then one, two. This is how we finish the row.
In this row, in the first loop, two sts without n-da, in the next - one, two sts, one. And then we alternate knitting columns in the same way.
Then we knit one st without d-a in each loop. The number of such rows you determine yourself, depending on how deep you need the basket.
Continue working with yellow threads. Knit the duckling's head. In a loop, six sts without y-y-y. Then one st without y-y-y-y in each loop of the row that was knitted earlier.
One st-k without n-da in the first loop, in the nextloop two dc without n-da, one dc without n-da and again two. Then two dc in the first loop, and in the next one dc without n-da, two dc without n-da, one.
We knit the next four rows according to the same pattern - one sl st in each loop.
And we start making decreases. In the first two rows, you need to make two decreases in each row.
Then three decreases in a row. And when the hole becomes small, you need to fill it with padding polyester.
The head for the little duckling is ready.
We continue to work with our heads.Now we will use red threads to make a beak for the duckling. We will cast on four air loops. In the first and last loops we knit three s-ka without н-да, and in the rest one column without н-да. And the second row, which will also be the last one, we knit columns without н-да, one in a loop.
Sew the beak to the head.
Using a needle and black thread, embroider the eyes.
Next, using red thread and a crochet hook, weLet's do a hairstyle for our little duckling. So that he looks even cuter. Well, since we are making a basket, it should have a handle. For this, let's go back to the yellow yarn. We collect a chain of loops. We collect twenty-five loops. And in each loop we knit one column without n-da.
Sew to the basket.
We will also sew the duckling's head to the basket.This is the gift basket we got. If you present your gift to someone in such a basket, believe me, you will not only please the recipient, but also pleasantly surprise him and everyone around. By the way, it is not at all necessary to use such a basket for wrapping gifts. You can store some small things in it. For example, various accessories for needlework, pens, pencils, and so on.
