To make such a product 46 – 48size you will need thick woolen thread (4 - 5 skeins, depending on the footage) and circular knitting needles No. 5. The half-over is knitted entirely, starting with the front elastic. We put 76 stitches on the knitting needles and knit with an elastic band approximately 2 x 2 14 cm. This is approximately 26 rows.; Please note that in the last row, 1 stitch is added on each side, picking them up twisted from broaches between the loops. The result is 80 loops. The knitting pattern for a pullover with kimono sleeves is as follows:
Then we need to knit the pullover using stockinette stitch.This means that the front row is knitted with knit stitches, and the rows on the wrong side – purl loops. We knit the product, do not forget to add 1 loop on each side. at first in every tenth row 4 times = 40 rows, not taking into account the elastic band. Then add 1 stitch in every eighth row twice = 56 rows. When making a sleeve in every second row, you need to add 2 stitches 2 times, 3 stitches 9 times and 4 stitches 4 times. There should be 184 loops. Then we knit another 23 rows in stockinette stitch up to the neck of the pullover.
We perform the neckline (neckline) as follows:close the middle 24 stitches, knit 2 rows and close 3 loops on both sides, knit 2 more rows and again close 2 loops on both sides, perform the last two rows. After 114 rows (about 64 cm), the shoulder line is completed. Exactly half of the product is ready.
Next, we continue to knit in a mirror image.To make cuffs on the sleeves, we cast on 30 loops at the edges of the sleeves and knit 17 rows with an elastic band (approximately 9 cm). Close the loops and crochet the side seams and sleeve seams. Along the edge of the neckline, cast on 72 stitches on circular needles and knit 14 rows (6 cm) with an elastic band. Close the neck loops and the product is ready!You can make such a pullover plain,choose a melange thread to your taste, highlight the elastic band, cuffs and neckline with a bright, contrasting color, or choose a pattern. You can also decorate the product with beautiful buttons, and pearl beads will perfectly complement the look. It all depends on your imagination. In any case, such a new thing will look just great.
