The cape is a poncho crocheted. The work of Anna Kasyanova

According to the calendar, it’s already spring, but it’s still frosty outside.Waiting for spring, I started preparing for it. The Internet is full of capes and ponchos, so I wanted to knit such beauty. I got a cape-poncho with a neck. Yarn 100% acrylic from Nako (white) and Alize Angora Real 40 - (05 - Beige). Hook number 3 and knitting needles number 6. No patterns. I knitted 2 triangular ones, then sewed them together.Cape - poncho description of work:For the front, the shawl is knitted with a neckline, i.e. knitting starts not from row 1, but from row 3. I cast on stitches along the edge of the neckline using number 6 knitting needles and knitted with a 2 x 2 elastic band. I used the granny square pattern and Bavarian knitting as a basis. Here is an example of the patterns. For the granny square pattern, at the end of the row, there is a double crochet, so the edge is smoother. I used only rows 3 and 4 from the Bavarian knitting pattern. I knitted the neck with number 6 knitting needles in 2 threads. I steamed the finished product slightly. Although the poncho cape turned out to be openwork, it is quite warm. I think it will suit spring or cool summer. It will perfectly fit size 42-46. The work is finished and now I am looking forward to spring))) Cape - poncho knitting pattern: Author of the work Wait, loading…
