Booties "Tender" - work by Evgeniya Kalchenko, sent to our in the category of designer booties.
To knit booties we will need: yarn:Kamtex lotus grass stretch (slightly less than 1 skein) white Iris (green cotton for strapping) Satin ribbons: 0.6 cm - green (118 cm), blue (46 cm), white (52 cm) 1.2 cm - blue (60 cm), white (for roses ~ 90 cm or ready-made roses 6 pcs) Lace: 7 cm (width) - ~ 14-16 cm, 4 cm (width) - 25-27 cm Mesh: 2 squares 7 * 7 cm 4 green beads (diameter 0.8 cm), 4 blue beads (0.5 cm) and blue beads. Sole: Oval crocheted in a circle according to the pattern.
Sides:We hold the sole away from us and start from the heel. Each row close. sl st. (sl st. or dead st.) 1 row: 1 ch st. for lifting, sc in each st. of the previous row (44 sts) 2 row: 2 ch st. for lifting, *ch st., dc* repeat from * to * until the end of the row 3 row: 2 ch st., all dc (in this row we begin to form the toe, see diagram) 4 row: lifting loops, alternate dc st., ch st. 5 row: first shift 1 sl st. to the left, then alternate ch st., sc. s/n (in this row you get s/n in the ch of the previous row) 6th row: this is the 1st row of the cuff, we knit all s/n in each p. of the previous row (in this row there is a ribbon-tie) 2nd row of the cuff, we alternate s/n, ch. 3rd row: tie. sc. We knit the second bootie in the same way. The basis of our future booties is ready.
Sole and cuff binding: (green iris)) We fix the thread in the middle of the heel, make 3 ch and sl st in the next st of the sole, then 1 more sl st (dead) in the next st of the sole, we get an alternation of 3 ch 2 sl st (see diagram)
Also tie the cuff.Decorating booties: Sew beads to the trim (see photo). Take about 25-27 cm of lace (4 cm wide) and sew it to the cuff under the trim. Start at the front (fold the edge inward by 0.5 cm) and make 3 folds on the sides (there will be a decoration at the back, no need to make folds), go around the cuff and finish at the front, also folding the edge inward by 0.5 cm. There is no need to sew the lace (it will be like a curtain) there will be a knot from the ribbon-tie) Thread a 45 cm ribbon (green color 0.6 cm) and put beads of blue color on the ends.
Bow decoration at the front:(we set fire to all the ribbon edges with a lighter) Cut off 7 cm of lace (7 cm wide), pull a thread through the middle along the width, pull together to form a bow. We do the same with the mesh. Cut off 2 strips of 15 cm from the blue ribbon (1.2 cm), bend the ends to the middle, fix (sew), and place these strips crosswise. Cut off 14 cm of green, blue, and white from the ribbons (0.6 cm). We make regular loops from them and place them on top of each other, shifting them slightly to the side (see photo) in the following order (from top to bottom) white, blue, green, sew together. Assembling the booties: (from top to bottom) 3 roses (ready-made or made from ribbons (1.2 cm consumption is approximately 15 cm per 1 rose)) white. sew together, then loops of 3 thin ribbons, a bow made of mesh, naked ribbon (criss-cross), a bow made of lace. Sew everything together. In the front, under the roses, pull a thread, string naked beads (15 pcs.) on it and secure at the base. If the decoration is removable, then sew a rivet on a piece of satin ribbon folded in several layers to the back of the lace bow. Sew the 2nd part of the rivet (also on a piece of ribbon) to the toe of the booties. If the decoration is not removable, then sew it directly to the booties.
Decoration on the back: make a loop from white ribbon (0.6 cm), attach a bow from blue ribbon to it, sew a green bead in the middle and sew it to the bootie directly on top of the lace (see photo).
