Beret for a girl.I took the pattern for this beret from a special issue of the newspaper "Fashion and Simple. Knitting for Children", No. 5, 2014. Threads - 100% cotton, hook No. 2. I really like the color - ecru. Head circumference - 50 cm. I knitted it like this: the bottom - according to the pattern:
Only at the beginning of the work I didn’t get 10 airloops (I don't like big holes), but made a "magic loop" (or a slip ring). In the third row from the end, I alternated 4 air loops, a single crochet (in the original there were 9 air loops). In the penultimate row, I knitted not 10 (as in the diagram) single crochets in arches of four air loops, but 6. In total, I got 216 loops. In the last (in the diagram) row, I knitted a double crochet into each single crochet of the previous row (i.e. without increases).
Then I knitted 5 double crochets evenly, then8 more rows of double crochet stitches, decreasing evenly by 12 stitches in each row (120 stitches left). Knitted 8 rows of single crochet stitches. In the last row, made a picot of 3 chain stitches through 4 stitches.
Decorated it with a bow.
