For work, you will need the following tools: a brush; liquid watercolors; a white paper or cardboard sheet; a container for water; cotton swabs; wet napkins or a wet cloth. If you are faced with this technique for the first time and do not know where to start, you must choose a theme for the drawing. After you make a blot, turn on your imagination and try to see the outline of something familiar to you. For example, an object or an animal, a bird. There are several ways to draw in the unconventional technique of blotography. The first and most famous, widespread is the drip method. You will need a large and thick brush. It must be thoroughly dipped in the prepared paint and start splashing it over the sheet of paper. If you need the drops to be on a certain area, then you should tap the brush on your finger. Most often, various interesting landscapes are created thanks to this method. The second method in the blotography technique is the spreading method. Now you need to take a cocktail tube and start blowing paint in different directions through it. After the manipulations have been done, look closely at the picture and think about what it might remind you of. If it is a bush or another plant, then finish the picture by adding additional details. Draw berries, flowers or leaves on the resulting branch. To achieve this goal, take a stick (cotton). It should be dipped in the appropriate paint and draw the necessary elements. If you wish, the resulting picture can be decorated with various decorative elements, a frame, and then it will delight you and others for a long time.
