We will need to fold the prepared paper in half. We fold it exactly in the middle of the sheet. We unfold it and draw lines on both sides of the fold. The lines should be straight and drawn at the same angle. The angle is approximately 35 - 40 ˚С. To make the drawing clear, you can use a ruler in your work. As a result, we should get lines that are mirror images of each other, as shown in the photo.
Stage two. Draw transverse lines on one side of the image, which will act as steps.
Third stage. We must draw the same steps on the other side.
The fourth stage.At this stage of the work we need to create a shadow from the stairs. For this we will need a ruler and a very soft simple pencil. An 8B pencil will work great. First, using a ruler, we will connect the tops of the resulting stairs, and then create the effect of the shadow. Do not press hard on the pencil. The shadow from the object should not be very dark.
The fifth stage, the last one.We need to take a sheet of paper and lift one side up. The paper with the drawing should be turned towards the observer in such a way that the stairs depicted on it seem perfectly straight. The shadow we drew earlier will create the illusion of reality.
