Today we will try to knit an unusual model of booties for the winter for a little princess. Very useful if you plan to knit them as a gift, because such booties cannot be found in stores and boutiques.What makes them unique is that they are unusually long and look like boots – but with a knitted sole.Let's start knitting very cute and very elegant booties for girls.First, twenty-two loops are cast on the knitting needles andknit: 9 sts knit garter stitch (front st + back side) 8 sts front 5 sts garter stitch. Purl rows are knitted according to the pattern. This can be an elastic band or another pattern of your choice. We twist the cord every ten rows. We knit seven cords and close the knitting. Along the edge, we cast on 36 sts, knit 10 central loops, and knit 14 rows with the front surface (tongue), on the back side. And vice versa, on the front side of the product - purl surface. In the eleventh and thirteenth rows, we decrease only one loop from both edges, so that there are six loops on the knitting needles. Along the edge of the tongue of the product, seven loops are cast on. Total 13 loops + seven loops + 6 loops + seven loops + 13 loops equals 46 loops. Knit twelve rows and knit forty-six loops with garter stitch. Take 6 central loops and proceed to the sole, adding loops: there should be ten of them. The sole is knitted until there are six loops left on the knitting needle on the left and right. We decrease the loops of the sole to 6 loops. The loops of the sole (6 loops) are closed, and the remaining loops on the knitting needles are knitted to the sole. Along the edge of the sole, now the braid loops are cast on for the welt: cast on 4 knitting needles and work six rows with the front surface. All loops are closed. Try to close the loops weakly so that the welt does not pull too much. Twist the welt. On the wrong side of the product, from the side of five loops along the edge, we cast on 36 loops and knit three rows with the front side, close them and sew along the edge of the cord.
