Of course, it's very difficult to make any gypsum items out of hand with your own hands, but it is possible to master small elements, it's enough to follow a simple instruction:

  • In the first stage, you must select the appropriateshape, the good that the silicone molds presented in the silk-work shops are perfect for this. The walls of the mold are carefully lubricated with a separating grease.
  • Then a gypsum solution is created, consisting of 10 parts of powder and 7 parts of warm water - everything is well kneaded. For greater flexibility, you can add a little PVA glue.
  • The solution mixed into the liquid sour cream is poured into the mold and left for setting for 15-20 minutes. After that, the product is removed and dried for a day.
  • Readiness of the product for further processing can be determined by color - it should become milky-white. The finished decor is covered with a primer and, if necessary, with paint.
