This master class with photos and descriptions will show the technique of decoupage of garden furniture - stools.
The man's chair was turned into a stool, it turned outnot very difficult. Well, I decided to update it, giving it some freshness with the help of several napkins. Materials needed for decoupage of country furniture - stools - object for decoupage - stool - sandpaper - flat brushes - white paint - paper napkins - file - water - universal PVA glue - acrylate varnish - protective and decorative paint for wood "penetrex" Progress - let's start decorating the stool So, from the old chair, having removed the back and nailed the seat, we made a stool. And it stood at the dacha, gray and lonely.I sanded the surface of the stool seat with sandpaper. For better adhesion of the outer layer of paint and the surface of the stool, I coated it with PVA glue and let it dry.I primed the stool with white acrylic paint. After the surface dried, I painted it again.I dried it, then sanded it. I separated the two lower layers of the napkin, and laid the upper layer with the ornament on a file, face down.I moistened it with water and smoothed out the wrinkles.I transferred the file with the napkin to the surface of the stool, smoothed it out so as to remove the air from under the napkin, and then removed the file.I glued it with PVA and let it dry.I glued the remaining fragments and left them for a while to dry.The lower part of the stool, i.e. the legs, was sanded. The varnish cannot be completely removed, as it was applied in production conditions, but the surface of the legs can be leveled by removing the weak, worn-out layers of varnish.I covered the legs with Penetrex. It is a light tone, but I did not have the task of repainting, but only filling in the exposed, whitish areas of the legs.I covered the surface of the stool with acrylic varnish. When the varnish dried, I repeated the procedure. The garden stool is ready.
