Knitting a women's sweater with jacquardpattern For those who want to master the technique of knitting with a jacquard pattern, it will be very useful to study this master class. In it we will tell you how you can knit a women's sweater in sizes S, M and L with this pattern. Let's start by preparing the necessary materials and tools. Take:

Machenmayr Extra Merino yarn (wool –100%, density – 130m/50g) – 450 (500, 550) grams of gray, 50 grams of red, 50 grams of dark blue, 50 grams of blue and 50 grams of yellow;
Knitting needles №4 and 3,5;
stocking knitting needles №4 and 3,5;
circular knitting needles №4 and 3,5.

In this work we will use the following patterns.Elastic band – alternately one front, onepurl. Knit stitch: knit rows are knitted with knit stitches, purl rows – purlwise, in circular rows we knit exclusively knit stitches. Jacquard pattern A: knitted in accordance with counted pattern A in stockinette stitch. The loops of rapport are repeated. We do it once from the first to the sixth row. Jacquard pattern B: knitted in accordance with counted pattern B using stockinette stitch. Performed once from the first to the sixtieth circular row. The knitting density will be as follows: 22 loops x 30 rows, which is equal to a square of 10x10 centimeters. Let's start knitting the back. Using knitting needles No. 3.5 and gray thread, we form 98, 107, 116 stitches in a cross-shaped cast and knit 2.5 centimeters using an elastic band. Then, using needles No. 4, we knit six rows using jacquard pattern A, after which we knit with gray yarn in stockinette stitch. Twelve centimeters from the cast-on edge, we close one loop on both sides for fitting, then in all eighth rows another 4x1 loop, total – 88, 97, 106 loops. Twenty-six centimeters from the same edge, we add one loop on both sides, and then in all sixth rows another 6x1 times, for a total – 102, 111, 120 stitches. Forty centimeters from the cast-on edge for the armhole, two loops are closed on both sides and in the subsequent second row another 1x1 loop, for a total of – 96, 105, 114 loops. After this we put the loops aside. We knit the front part in the same way as the back.Let's move on to knitting the sleeves.Using knitting needles No. 3.5 and gray yarn, cast on 56, 62, 68 stitches crosswise and knit two and a half centimeters using an elastic band. Using knitting needles No. 4, we knit six rows with jacquard pattern A, then we knit with gray yarn in stockinette stitch. In the tenth row from the elastic, in order to form side bevels, we add one loop on both sides, and then in all tenth rows, 11x1 loops, for a total of – eighty, eighty-six, ninety-two loops. After 44 centimeters from the cast-on edge for the armhole, we close two loops on both sides and in the next row an additional 1x1 loop, for a total of – 74, 80, 86 loops. Set aside the loops. We knit a yoke. Using circular knitting needles No. 4, we transfer the loops that we set aside, the front and back parts, the left and right sleeves, total – three hundred forty, three hundred seventy, four hundred loops, and knit in circular rows. We knit one row in stockinette stitch, decreasing 8, 6, 4 loops equally, you get 332, 364, 396 loops. Next we knit using the jacquard pattern B. In the seventeenth row of this pattern we decrease forty-four, fifty-two, sixty loops, for a total – 228, 312, 336 stitches. In the thirty-ninth row, we equally decrease 72 loops, the total will be – 216, 240, 264 loops. In the forty-ninth row we decrease 56 stitches, the total will be – 160, 184, 208 loops. In the fifty-fifth row, 16, 22, 28 stitches are decreased, leaving a total of – 144, 162, 180 stitches. In the sixtieth row we make a uniform decrease of 44, 48, 52 loops, the total will be – 100, 114, 128 loops. Reducing the number of loops, we switch to stocking needles. Using gray yarn, we knit one row for the collar with purl loops, one row with knit stitches, using stocking needles No. 3.5 we knit an additional 21 centimeters and close each loop. Finally, we complete the assembly. We make seams on the sides, at the armholes and sleeves.That's all! Cute women's sweater with jacquard pattern knitted.
