For its design, you can use various decorative elements in the form of ribbons, lace, beads, buttons, etc. You can use any theme that suits your taste. A marine theme will be very appropriate, which is always suitable for decorating soap. In this case, the packaging is decorated with sea stones, shells and other similar materials. However, the execution algorithm itself, in principle, has not changed. This master class presents the process of making a gift box for soap from beige cardboard. This material will give your gift a sense of naturalness. Such packaging will go well with soap made from such useful components as oatmeal, various seeds or ground coffee. In our work, we will use interwoven cardboard. It can easily be found in any craft or stationery store. Additionally, prepare a cord for decoration (twine or string), a stationery knife, scotch tape (try to find double-sided), a tool for installing eyelets. To create this box, you need to use the template below. Cut out the base for the future box from the prepared cardboard. Check whether the template matches the gift soap. If not, adjust the dimensions of the future packaging.
Use a ruler and a knife tostationery to cut out a neater template. It is not so difficult to give the folds of the box a neater look if you press them with a blunt object. A non-writing ballpoint pen works well for this. Now glue your packaging together using double-sided tape.
All edges of the gift wrap can be lightlytint with a strong coffee solution. In this work, you should use a small sponge or cotton swab. In order not to spoil the box, try to initially do this operation on some unnecessary piece of such cardboard. If desired, the gift wrap can be decorated with all sorts of patterns using a stencil.
To make such packaging resealable,use eyelets and cardboard circles of lighter shades. If you do not have a tool for installing eyelets, you can install them yourself. When our box is completely ready,Place the soap in it. If possible, use paper filler so that its contents do not dangle from side to side. Sisal or something similar will do for this purpose. It will be better if you additionally pack the soap in cling film. This way it will not lose much moisture.
