Coffee bench: bench transformer from Karolina Tylka
A piece of furniture called the Coffee Bench wascreated by Polish designers from the Beyond studio, headed by Karolina Tylka. The multifunctional transforming bench consists of separate elements, which can be combined to create seats, armrests and tables. The idea of creating such a transforming bench was bornfrom the need to put a cup of coffee or a laptop somewhere on an ordinary park bench. The bench design consists of separate narrow blocks that rotate around a central metal axis on legs. Thanks to this, the bench configurations can be quite varied, for example, you can create different combinations of seats, tables and armrests. The length of the bench can vary from 1 to 3meters, which will allow you to fit the model into any room. Various materials are also available - plywood, MDF, plastic, cellulose, and the finish is made of stainless galvanized steel, which means that the transforming bench can be used outdoors - in the garden, on the terrace, in parks. If you plan to put the bench indoors, then a soft upholstery option made of felt or leather is offered especially for this. The transforming bench is an excellent solution for public places - waiting rooms at airports or train stations, libraries, cafes and restaurants. A wonderful concept designed for the convenience and comfort of people. Source
