2016 is the year of the Monkey. An original souvenir as a gift for the New Year to friends and colleagues can be made by yourself. This will require quite accessible materials and a few hours of free time. So, we will prepare such materials:

• dense white fabric for the monkey's trunk;
• Red velor and white fur for the cap and scarf;
• sintepon;
• thread;
• instant coffee;
• cocoa powder;
• cinnamon ground;
• vanillin;
• PVA glue;
• acrylic paints;
• black gel pen;
• an unnecessary toothbrush;
• brushes for drawing.

First we will prepare a pattern. Here it is given on an A4 sheet. You can repaint it on a sheet yourself or traverse it from the monitor, correcting it to the desired size. We will fold the fabric in half and draw the tail, head andtrunk. On the lines drawn, we sew both layers of fabric together. On the tail at the top of the bend, leave uncut about 2 cm, and cover the head and trunk completely, leaving no uncoated areas. Cut out the details of the toy with allowances of about 0.5 cm. To make the seams on the finished toy elastic, and do not pull the line, we cut out the denticles on the allowances, not cutting to the line 1-2mm. On the head and trunk blanks, we make cuts. On the body - between the front paws, and on the head - at the bottom. Through these holes we twist the parts. Separate the ears from the head line. Ears remain flat, we will not fill them with sintepon. We fill the synthepone with the prepared details of the monkey. Holes are sewn by hand. For each piece, attach the thread for suspension to dry. Let's make a coloring solution. For him, 0.5 tbsp. Soluble coffee poured 70 ml of boiling water, stir for dissolution and add 0.5 tsp. cocoa powder, ground cinnamon and vanillin. All stir, adding at last 0.5 tbsp. glue PVA. This coloring composition covers all the details of our toy. It is easy to apply with a toothbrush. It allows you to quickly paint a figure, while not strongly impregnating it. The liquid should be collected on the bristles a little, carefully distributing it along the fabric. We try to moisten only the surface of the tissue, and the sintepon inside should remain dry. So we avoid divorce and smudges when drying. Dry the workpiece can be on the battery, but moreA qualitative and quick result is reached when drying in the oven. The painted surface is baked and becomes rigid at the expense of the glue entering the coloring solution. On such a surface you can draw with a simple pencil, and they make a sketch of the muzzle of a monkey. Like that: We paint with acrylic paints.Gloves can be applied to boots and gloves. Gel pen black color we draw cilia, mouth, eyebrows, freckles. Torso monkeys turn the seam to themselves and sew the tail and head from this side. The seam on the head is stitched with a seam on the trunk. So they will not be visible, especially in this place everything else will be covered with a scarf. From red velor we cut out a detail thatshape resembles a quarter circle with a radius of 7cm. For the edge we take a strip of white fur, which is used for sewing soft toys. You can cut a strip of fleece instead of it or tie it in fluffy threads. Also cut off a piece of this material about 1.5 × 3cm for the brush on the cap. We fold this detail in half and sew together the free edges. Then tighten the thread in the form of a brush. Cap we sew in the form of a cone, we sew on the top of the prepared brush and on the bottom edge we cover the cap with a fur strip. From the same red velor we cut off the stripapproximately 2 × 25 cm, to both edges of which we sew the same brushes, as on the hood - it will be a scarf. The scarf is wrapped around the "neck" of the monkey, and the cap is stitched to her head with stitches. The toy can be hung on the tree, hooked on the branch with a tail, and you can attach a smart ribbon to the tail and hang a toy for it.
