Unusual interior items, how to make a bright mat of knots with their own hands, tips, step by step instruction.
Not so long ago were quite relevantcolored brooms, made of threads, decorative ropes or ribbons. Such decorations were hand-made, hand-to-hand, symbolized friendship. Such a weaving technique can be used to make various objects. Also, such a principle can be used in the manufacture of an original bright carpet from knots at home. 
Weaving of such carpets and baubles is onefrom varieties of macrame. There are various patterns, as well as styles of weaving, where an ordinary knot is taken as a basis. To make such a rug, the simplest method that can only be worked out is using the weave with ordinary knots. To make a similar mat, prepare strips of different colors of fabric, scissors, needle and thread, as well as scotch tape. The final size of your product on the straight will depend on the width, length, and density of the selected fabric. In this example, we used 7 stripes of fabric of five different colors. Arrange the colored ribbons in the order that you want to see in the finished product, and glue the top of the strips with scotch tape. This example implies the arrangement of colors in the mirror image. First tape on the left, tie the knot on the second ribbon, then pull it up. Do this operation before the 5th tape, and then do the same, only on the other side towards the center. 
As a result, the last tapes should meet incenter, tie them together and lower the ends down. Then run the second row in the same way. Continue your work until you reach the length you need. To preserve the original pattern, it is important not to confuse the ribbons. You must start and end the row with a cloth of the same color. 
To get a carpet in the shape of the letter V, follow theeach next node is slightly lower than the previous one. You should make two similar rugs and sew them in one whole carpet. As a result of the work cut the extra ribbons, and carefully sew the tips. Your mat is now ready for use. As you can see, using obsolete things or the simplest materials in the form, for example, of strips of fabrics, you can make enough original interior items in the form of rugs, rugs in the bathroom, covers on chairs, etc. With such objects you can bring to your interior the notes of antiquity, which will always remind you of your grandmother's summer vacation in the village.
