New Year's hand-made articles: a monkey with his own hands for the 2015 Competition, handmade monkeys for the new year
Symbols of the coming year should be kept in every home – they bring good luck to the owners, attract success and financial well-being.
My creation is two monkeys - a boy andgirl. I knitted the boy from white and brown yarn, the girl – from white and pink. The threads, as well as the hook, should not be too thin, otherwise it will be difficult to knit large toys.
To enable the monkeys to grimace, gesture and hold objects, each monkey has a wire frame inside that runs not only through its paws but also through its tail.
To decorate the faces, you need to buy ready-made plastic eyes, but the lips can be embroidered with red threads.
These are the symbols of the year 2016 that I got!
