Decoupage of master-class wine glasses for the 2015 contest, decoupage with their own hands

The technique of decoupage is very simple. It can very quickly master even a beginner. So it happened with me, I decided to master this technique and started with an interesting idea for the New Year. But what can be transformed beyond recognition with the help of New Year's decoupage? Yes, almost everything! The most common option is a decoupage of a New Year's bottle. But I went further, and decided to make original Christmas glasses. In order to make the New Year table even more festive we will need:

• Glasses (glass)
• Napkins with a New Year theme (3 layers)
• Scissors
• Painting Scotch
• Degreaser (in my case - a liquid for removing varnish)
• Primer (acrylic)
• Acrylic paints
• Brushes
• Sponges made of foam rubber
• Varnish (acrylic transparent)
• Tapes and threads of beads

1. First, we prepare the glasses: we clean them from the labels, thoroughly degrease the entire surface. Then we glue the top of the glass with paint tape so that the part is left without decor, tk. glasses will be used for their intended purpose. 2. Next selected areas are covered with white acrylic primer with foam sponge. We leave them to dry. 3. While the coating dries on the glasses, we select patterns from napkins. I want to make two glasses the same, so I choose the same drawings for each glass. If possible, the picture is not cut out, but cut off. 4. After the layer of soil has dried, we deal with drawing napkins. Gently apply a pattern to the selected area, and with a brush apply from the top PVA glue. My glue was very thick, I spread it a little with water. Glue each picture. 5. After all the drawings have dried up, I began to decorate further - applying acrylic paint on the glass with a sponge. It is important to choose a color so that everything blends. I managed to pick it up under the color of a napkin. With small steps I achieved the integrity and smoothing of the edges of the napkin pattern. 6. The final touch is the decoration of the glasses. On some drawings we put a little spangles. We cover glasses with glasses. Also I made small bows on a legglasses, and the top edge zadekorirovala thread from the beads. In my opinion, everything turned out harmoniously and beautifully. These glasses will necessarily complement the New Year's table and create a special mood. I also decorated the bottle with champagne in decoupage technique.
