Balloon;
a large sheet of cardboard (dimensions of at least 40 cm by 25 cm);
old newspapers;
corrugated or crepe paper;
PVA glue;
acrylic paints;
brushes.

Step 1 — creating the foundation for the futureMinion piñata. Wrap a piece of paper around the inflated balloon and secure the ends with tape. The ball should extend about 1/2 — above the edges of the paper. this will be the minion's head.Step 2 — covering the base with a newspaper-glue mixture using the papier-mâché technique. Dip newspaper sheets into PVA glue and wrap them around the base. Before gluing a new layer, you need to let the previous one dry. 3-4 layers are enough — if you do more, the piñata will be too dense and attaching additional elements will be inconvenient.Step 3 — coloring the dried base. You will need deep yellow paint. It is better to use acrylic paints; they have a denser structure than watercolors. Step 4 — pasting with corrugated or crepe paper. Cut the yellow paper into strips about 2 cm wide and make cuts along its entire length, not reaching the edge about 5 mm. You will get some kind of garlands with which you need to cover the top part of the future toy with your own hands. Step 5 — gluing additional elements in the form of minion limbs and his clothes. We have prepared stencils for you that all you have to do is print them out and stick them on the toy:

arms and legs;
mouth;
glasses;
costume.

Blanks for hands and feet are cut out of thickcardboard and then paste on them stencils. To piñata was stable, fasten the legs of the toy in the base of the foam plastic. Congratulations, you created a minion of papier-mâché with your own hands!
