Open the drawer from the drawer with your own hands
From a regular wooden or plywood box,boxes, a plastic container, you can get an original open nightstand from a box with your own hands, decorated with natural materials - wood and cork.
The materials we will need are:
- Box / container plastic or wooden
- At desire - a shelf in a box
- Legs for bedside tables (old from a chair, stools)
- Silk of branches of different diameters
- Cork panels
- paint
- saw
- Hot glue (hot glue gun)
The most important design of the cabinet will be preciselyround cuts of branches, so first take a walk in the forest and collect several fallen dry tree branches of different sizes. If the branches are wet, it is advisable to dry them well at home, then, if desired, clean them from moss, bark and small knots. Use a saw to cut large and thin branches into pieces. If you want the sides of the pedestal to be even, the pieces should be the same height.
The box or container itself from the inside (and outside, ifyou want) paint it in the desired color, for example, brown, black or gold. Attach legs to the box, as well as brackets for the shelf, which you also paint and then simply insert inside. Hot glue the cork plate to the top of the nightstand. You can also glue the cork to the shelf or cover the sides of the nightstand with it.
Glue the cut branches to the sides of the nightstandhot glue (on a cork surface or simply on a painted one). Fill the cabinet with magazines, things, put it in a convenient place and enjoy the result!
