Sew a doll

To sew a snowball doll we need the following materials:

linen fabric for the trunk;
Color cotton for coats, dresses and shoes;
filler (sintepuh, holofayber);
small buttons;
yarn (for hair);
cardboard (for the sole);
lace;
pattern.

Operating procedure

On the material for the basis we transfer the patternsanterior and posterior parts of the head, and also the feet. The same material is folded along the edge line in half and we transfer the patterns of the trunk, legs, hands. The contour on the double fabric is sewn on the sewing machine.

Details of the head and feet are cut out, leaving 0.5cm for the allowance on the seam. Torso, arms and legs are twisted, then tightly packed with sinters. The most simple stage is finished, we pass to the most responsible part - tailoring.
We already have foot preparations. From the cardboard we also cut out the details of the feet strictly along the contour of the pattern. Lay the cardboard insole on the fabric blank, wrap the edges of the fabric and glue it with a thermo-gun (you can sew). We put the feet to the feet (cardboard insole inside), then we sew the workpieces with a secret seam.
The legs are ready, we proceed to tailoring the head. Sew the back parts from the front on the lateral seams, leaving a slit of 1 cm at the bottom. Lastly, we sew the back parts of the head together. We turn out the head, fill it with sinters, then we put it on the neck and sew it with a secret seam.
We now turn to sewing clothes for skins. Our doll will be dressed for the season: trousers, dress, coat and boots. We'll start with boots, perhaps.

We transfer the pattern to the fabric and cut out,retreating from the edge of 0.5 cm. The boots will not be removable, so we sew the sole directly to the foot. The details of the upper part of the boot are sewn along the front seam and try on. The back seam is swept.
We sew the shoes on the back seam, turn it out and put it on the foot. Sew the upper part with the sole of the seam "forward needle". The seam is closed with braid or lace, we sew a bow on top of the shoe.
Next we sew knickers on a pattern. We put knickers on the legs and (attention) only then we sew the legs to the trunk. For fastening we use the method of cross-cutting of parts.
We do not need a pattern for sewing a dress. This will be a rectangle, the length of which corresponds to the required length of the dress of our skins, and the width - to the double fullness of our doll in the widest place. The edges of the rectangle are processed, sew lace. Then we sew the rectangle along the side seam.
On the upper edge of the dress we make a marking stitch andwe put on snowball, we tighten the thread on the neck. It remains to sew a coat. We fold the two flaps of fabric with faces to each other, puncture the pins and transfer the pattern. We sew the workpiece along the contour, leaving a small slot for turning.
The pattern of the sleeves is transferred to the folded fabric, the contour is stitched. All the details are turned out and ironed. We put our hands in our sleeves.
We put on the coat on the doll, sew on the button. Hands sewing through the method of through fastening. It remains to make our hairstyle.
We need strands of "hair" of two lengths. To quickly cut the strands, we use objects that fit along the length (book or notepad, ruler). We wind the yarn and cut it.

First we sew a bang. Take a pair of short hair stitches and sew on the bang line. The rest of the hair is sewn on each of the semicircles of the back of the head. Hair can be tied in ponytails, braided in pigtails or simply tied with a ribbon.
