Dress for a country doll in your own hands - detailed instructions with a pattern and step-by-step photos
All mothers know that one dress, inwhich the doll was sold is not enough. Girls love to change the clothes on their dolls. To do this, you have to sew different outfits for the dolls. To instill neatness and taste in your daughter, you shouldn’t hastily cut out sloppy doll clothes. It’s better to spend more time, but dress the doll neatly and beautifully so that both the girl and you like it. For this we need: 1.Fabric with polka dots or small flowers. 2. Three strips of fabric that matches the color of the main material. 3. Scissors or cutter. 4. Sewing machine (or skillful hands and free time).
Let's get to work: Pattern – This is an example, with the measurements that were suitable for the doll shown in the photographs.
You need to be guided by the size of yourpupae. You should cut out two identical parts – for the top of the dress. Now it's time to sew! Sew the sleeves: sew the front and back parts of the bodice along the pattern lines, as shown in the photo. Sew underarm seams from the edge of the sleeve to the bottom of the bodice. Finish the free edges with a zigzag, overlock or buttonhole stitch – depending on your equipment, fold and stitch, leaving holes for inserting elastic. Insert an elastic band (approximately 25 cm) into the neck and approximately 10 centimeters each – in sleeves.
Sew two strips of white material together at both ends. Hem the free edge, fold it 1 cm and stitch.
Gather the resulting ribbon with a basting stitch along the top and sew this frill to the bottom of the skirt.
Gather the skirt at the waist and sew it to the top of the dress.

Take the remaining white strip and stitch along the length of the fabric.
Turn it inside out and trim the edges.Mark the center of the strap with a pin and pin two pins three centimeters from the center. Pin the strap to the dress just above the waist, gathering the dress up a little. Carefully stitch along the front with a rectangle as shown in the photo.
