In this master class you will learn how to make an original valentine for February 14
Valentine's Day or All Daylovers came to us from Europe relatively recently. All people, especially young people, want to believe in the existence of true love. That is why this holiday has become popular in our country. Now young people wait for the February day to confess their love, reveal their feelings, and maybe even propose to their beloved. It is surprisingly touching and sweet. Everyone is pleased to hear that they are loved. And to do it yourself beautifully and unusually is doubly pleasant.
To work we need to prepare:
- Thick cardboard;
- Satin ribbon (red, white and gold);
- Glue;
- Scissors;
- Figured punch;
- Foamiran;
- Half-bus.
Naturally, our Valentine will haveheart shape. Cut out a heart from thick cardboard, draw another heart inside and cut it out too, we won't need the inner part. For convenience, you can use a stationery knife instead of scissors.
To make the valentine look nice from all sides, wrap the blank with a red satin ribbon, securing it with glue.
Now she has become quite enough on her ownbeautiful, but that's not all. We'll decorate the front side with foamiran flowers. Cut out flowers of about 3 cm in diameter from foamiran. If you have a figured hole punch, do this with it.
If you don’t have a hole punch, be patient andcut out flowers using a template. For my 13 cm high valentine, I needed 20 flowers. To give the craft a slight relief, apply the flowers to a hot iron for 1-2 seconds and gently press the center with your finger. This will create a depression.
Glue a pearl half-bead into the center of each flower.
The flowers are ready, you can glue them to the heart. Place the flowers close to each other, without gaps.
On a white satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide, I wrote the message “I love you” with a gel pen.
We glue a loop of white satin ribbon with a message to the heart.
We form a bow from a gold satin ribbon and decorate our Valentine with it.
