Master class: tilde Bashka (lamb) / Toys with own hands, patterns, video, MK

Author: Splinter Today, for fans of making textile dolls, I prepared a master class on sewing a sheep in the tilde style. Especially since it is one of the symbols of 2015. And according to the stable popular belief in each house must be the patron of the current year. barashek10It should be noted that sewing lamb and lambthere is far more than one master class. In the magazine Tilda published at least three versions of tailoring this cute character. In the present master class we will consider with you the sewing of Sheep's lamb. Because exactly this lamb is sewn most simply and therefore it is quite suitable for the master who only know the world of tilda dolls. So, proceed.

Master class on sewing a sheep in the style of tilde

To sew a sheep in the tilde style, we need the following materials:

  • fabric, preferably of natural fibers (flannel, linen, chintz), but you can also fleece;
  • filler (fluff, sintepon, holofayber);
  • bamboo stick for stuffing;
  • Narrow decorative lace or braid;
  • beads, pearls, beads, buttons, etc .;
  • pencil and rouge for "make-up";
  • sewing thread.

Operating procedure:

  • We increase the pattern on the screen to the desired size (the keys "Ctrl" and "+") and translate by attaching a sheet of paper directly to the monitor. Of course, if you have a printer, you can simply print the pattern.
  • We transfer the pattern of the lamb to a cloth folded in half. I took a cotton cloth in a flower for a sheep's calf, a linen for a muzzle and a flannel for a "hat." The ears will be combined: flax and flannel.
  • All parts are to be sewn on a sewing machineor manually by stitching a "forward needle". Two details of the body and the "cap" are sewn completely, leaving no stitched places. Ears and head stitching, leaving room for eversion.
  • Cut out the blanks, leaving the edge 3-4 mm. Do not forget to make incisions in all places of turn of the seam. In those details, in which we left no room for eversion, we make a cross-cut in the middle.
  • Blanks are turned out and ironed. All parts are packed tightly with filler. And we begin to collect our sheep.
  • First, sew two parts of the body with a hidden seam, cuts to each other. We can not cut the thread. Immediately make a sheep tail.
  • We deduce a needle behind approximately in the middle and hardlytighten. Lace we collect on a thread and we sew it as a tail (it is possible to make also a bow from a decorative tape). From above we sew a button or we adorn a large bead.
  • We proceed to the muzzle. The base of the head is sewn with a hidden seam, turning the edges of the fabric inward, and slightly attaching. The ears are folded in half at the base and sewn to the head.
  • From above on the ears we put a "cap" on and sew it with a secret seam. It remains to attach the head to the calf and decorate.
  • Cut off a strip of lace in length of 50 sm and collecther on the thread. Then we sew the "shuttlecock" in the place where the trunk parts are fastened (you can also use braid, ribbon or cord). We are setting marafets: like all dolls in the style of tilde, we paint our sheep on the muzzle only eyes and blush.
  • Well, what kind of lamb without a bell? Let's make it from paper, or rather, weave it together.

    Master class of weaving a bell for a lamb

    barashek11We need materials:

    • newspaper vines (how to do it I told in the master class on weaving goats);
    • paper napkins with a small pattern;
    • PVA glue;
    • White acrylic paint;
    • acrylic lacquer.

    So, the process itself:

  • We need three tubes for the base and three forweaving. Fold the three tubes together (see photo). We take one more tube (working), add it and begin to weave a "string". After one round, we lower the bell posts down and continue to weave.
  • We build up the workers' tubes and weave three more circles. Then the racks are cut and wrapped inside the bell. We carefully glaze with glue and fix with clothespins.
  • After about an hour you can paint. I paint ordinary acrylic building paint "snowball". The product is decorated with floral fragments from the napkin and covered with acrylic lacquer. It remains to hang the bell to our sheep by the neck.
  • That's it, our lamb is ready. And in the next master class I will tell you how to sew a Easter bunny in the style of a tilde. All the best to you and to new meetings.
