To do the decoupage of plates will teach our master class. Such decorative plates are used to decorate the kitchen.
Often, dishes are needed not only for eating, but sometimes serves as a decoration for the kitchen interior. It is up to the hostess to decide what decorative plates should be. I just want to offer an idea of how to quickly and easily make a decorative plate out of a simple white plate. The eggshells I used made the surface of the plate embossed and beautiful. For this I needed:
- simple white plate,
- alcohol wipes,
- egg shell of any color,
- priming acrylic (or white paint),
- thick glue PVA (I took glue for carpentry work for gluing the shell),
- adhesive PVA for decoupage,
- foam rubber sponge and clerical clamp,
- napkin paper,
- brushes are flat,
- paints, acrylic,
- acrylic lacquer,
- bituminous varnish.
I cleaned the plate by degreasing it with a napkin and alcohol.I applied glue along the edge of the plate in small portions, only where I was gluing the shell, since the glue dries quickly.
I glued eggshells around the circumference of the plate, just along its edge.
Let it dry.
Then I primed the surface of the entire plate with white paint.
While the paint was drying, I separated the layers of the napkin and took the top layer.
I glued a napkin to the center of the plate and dried it.
I picked up the fragments for the remaining places and glued them.
Where there were still white gaps, I finished painting them with paint.
I dried it well and covered the entire plate with varnish in several layers.
I dried each layer. I went over the edge a little with bitumen varnish, which is called “touched with time”.
The plate is ready.
